XS Scuba SMB (Surface Marker Bouy)

The XS Scuba SMB has a total length of 7 feet of which 6 around proud of the water when fully inflated, by placing the stop below the water line it requires less downward force to keep the buoy upright. At 6 feet long and with a circumference of 22 inches the XS Scuba SMB is easily visible in any sea that you would want to go diving in and its visibility is further increased with a strip of SOLAS reflective tape near the top. The buoy is filled in one of two ways, firstly it can be orally inflated, secondly a second stage or air gun can be used at the base. Regardless of the filling method a one way baffle at the bottom ensures that no gases that have got into the bag will escape, an over pressure valve vents any excess gas as it expands on its way to the surface. A loop of elastic allows a glow stick to be attached at the top of a buoy and a d-ring allows a slate to be attached right next to it. When rolled up a velcro strap keeps it neat and secure. When full the XS Scuba SMB has a lift capacity of 50lbs / 23kg.
