Fugit Amor by Jul et Mad

Fugit Amor bursts open with a spicy, peppery opening that gradually warms up with carnation and elemi.

Its longevity is excellent, assisted by amber, cedar and musk.

The inspiration: Auguste Rodin’s sculpture, Fugit Amor.

Fugit Amor is, without question, one of Rodin’s most beautiful compositions: the two straining bodies are combined in one perfect flowing movement.

The Story: A representation of the contrast between the rough, thick, powerful aspect of a marble block and the transparency, its fragile, delicate aspect, as well as the extreme finesse revealed once the brut material carved. An explosive start with a crystalline facet, cold, almost frozen, inspired by the transparency and the finesse of the marble. A heart that gradually warms up, recalling the emotions that burst and nourish the flame of a forbidden love.
